Bruce started off playing skiffle in the 1950’s. During a misspent youth he played
in many groups supporting such famous bands as The Graham Bond Organisation, Zoot
Money, Georgie Fame, The Yardbirds, Goldie and the Gingerbreads, the Who, the Kinks
and many other bands.
Bruce spent several years with Loose Covers honing his bass playing skills. Before
this he could be found playing in several Gloucestershire based Blues based bands,
including “Sid and The Sidekicks”, “Earl Sleaze and the Kerbcrawlers” and infamous
“Colonel Romeo and the Warriors of Lust”.
Now Bruce & the mighty Boogie Bass hold down the rhythm section with Ade Boogie,
giving those guitar boys room to play.
